Effective evangelism and outreach to a growing area of South Bend afforded
Community Baptist the opportunity to build a new sanctuary for 1600 persons.
To reconcile their significant program needs with a tight budget a 180’ x 240’
pre-engineered steel structure was chosen to span the sanctuary. The sloped
ground floor seats 900 and a tiered balcony seats an additional 700 persons.

The building also connects the previously freestanding church school with the
original sanctuary. The original building will be converted to additional
classrooms in a future phase.
